HOW WE WORK

Editorial policy.

Published 29 October 2026. WERPQ Abroad is an independent career publication about working overseas. Our purpose is to help readers research jobs and employer-supported immigration routes, prepare stronger applications, and assess offers.

Sources and changing rules

Government departments and professional regulators are our starting points for visa and registration information. We link to official sources near relevant discussions and at the end of articles. A link is a way to check the underlying requirements, rather than evidence that an organisation endorses this publication.

Rules, fees, occupation lists, income thresholds, and processing times can change. Our publication dates show when an article was prepared. Readers should confirm current requirements before applying, spending money, resigning, or travelling. A guide does not establish anyone's eligibility.

AI assistance and authorship

Articles are prepared with AI assistance and original practical analysis. We do not claim individual review by a regulated immigration adviser, recruiter, lawyer, or professional regulator. Our organisational byline identifies WERPQ Abroad. We do not create fictional professional credentials or personal experience.

Examples and opportunities

Scenarios, sample interview answers, planning frameworks, and application examples illustrate an approach. They are not verified case histories or guaranteed outcomes. Employer types are research starting points. We do not publish a vacancy as open unless we can identify a current employer posting, and the guides are not a live vacancy database.

Past sponsorship, a sponsor licence, an occupation shortage, or an eligible occupation does not mean an employer will sponsor an applicant. We do not sell job offers, certificates of sponsorship, visa appointments, or promises of approval.

Corrections

If you identify a factual error, use our contact and corrections page. Include the article address, the specific statement, and an official source supporting the correction. We assess corrections against the available evidence. An updated date should indicate a substantive content revision, rather than a routine technical rebuild.

Advertising and commercial relationships

We may seek to fund this publication through advertising. Advertising is not a job application, visa service, employer endorsement, or recommendation from WERPQ Abroad. Advertising must be distinguishable from editorial content and labelled appropriately.

No advertising network is active at launch. AdSense requires a valid publisher account, site approval, and appropriate privacy and consent arrangements before advertising can be enabled. Future sponsorship or affiliate relationships will be disclosed alongside the relevant content. We do not currently earn affiliate commission from the source links in our articles.

Topic selection considers the questions professional job seekers need to answer. We do not promise advertising earnings or encourage readers to click advertisements. Prices paid by advertisers are not the same as publisher revenue, and neither is a measure of an article's accuracy.

Information and advice

The site provides general information. It does not provide individual legal, immigration, tax, financial, medical, or regulated professional advice. Where a decision depends on your circumstances, consult the relevant official authority or an appropriately authorised professional.
